f16c tws (and radar in general) not working at high alt?

as the title says, since yesterday, as the dogfights start on the middle of the map and im at high altitude, my PD radar just stops tracking enemies. i can see them coming towards me, but the tws just refuses to pick them up, even tough it was picking them up earlier. is this a new bug or a known issue?
