Tried fixing DNS server not found issue and now nothing will connect

I've been having issues with DNS servers not found with certain sites so I tried to fix it. I watched a couple of YouTube tutorials and they told me to do the same steps-

-view network connections -Network adopter

• properties
• internet protocol version 4
• use following DNS server address
• 8.8.8.8
• 8.8.4.4

-Command prompt

• ipconfig /flushdns -netsh winsock reset -netsh intIP reset

Restart pc

I followed the tutorial and now even though I'm connected to the Internet it says Im not connected to it. I'm not really tech savvy so if the tutorial doesn't work I'm not really sure what to do.
