Please help me find a substitute for this scent!
I fell head over heels in love with a perfume sample I bought off a fellow Redditor a couple weeks ago, not realizing the perfume name is offensive to the Algonquian tribe. I realized it after seeing the Black Moon post. I’d been planning on placing a big order with the shop but I can’t do that with a clear conscience anymore. I contacted the shop owner to let her know about the history of the name and politely asked if she’d consider changing it-she said she’d take it into consideration.
Anyway, the scent notes are: icy vanilla, smoky lavender, woodsy musk. It’s a layered fragrance where the lavender isn’t sweet, and the smoke isn’t strong, just gives it a bit more complexity. Does that sound like a perfume you’ve smelled before? If so please let me know!
