Looking for recommendations for hobbyist photographer

I feel like this should be a simple google search, but I'm going around in circles and down rabbit holes and am kind of lost. Appreciate any help.

Spouse is new owner of a nikon z5ii and is really getting into photography. Right now her workstation is an M1 mac mini and cheap acer 1080p monitor. She asked for a new monitor for editing. My dream would be the new Studio XDR display but that's way out of the budget. Ideally around $500 but could be convinced to go higher if it makes sense. OLED seems like kind of a mess with color drift and burn in.

The ProArt PA279CRV went on sale for $350 yesterday. Seemed to fit the bill so I ordered it. Finding a lot of mixed reviews after while waiting for delivery. What is the expert community's opinion of that display? Anything else you'd recommend in that space instead?
