Helpful tips for a design noob?

Hey, everyone. I’m looking to get into jersey design. A few q’s.

1. Which software (preferably free) is the most user-friendly to learn and experiment with?

2. Are there any sites that have blank jersey templates that are trusted which I can download?

3. Any rules or advice is appreciated!
