Money exchange limit without receipt?

hi everyone- I withdrew 200GBP from my UK bank account at the airport in MVR upon arrival. I withdrew it from the Habib bank ATM at the airport. I still have the withdrawal slip.

I have a majority of this cash still on hand and want to understand my options to change it back to GBP/USD before departure— at the airport

  1. Will the official Bank of Maldives cube accept the ATM withdrawal slip as a receipt of exchange? it lists my UK debit card on it but doesn’t otherwise seem to indicate much except the amount I withdrew in mvr … if they accept atm withdrawal slips then I should be fine- does anyone know?

  2. if they won’t accept an ATM withdrawal slip as a receipt of exchange, is there an amount up to which foreigners are allowed to convert back without a receipt? Does anyone have any personal/ recent experience how this went?

  3. if neither of above is option with Bank of Maldives, does anyone have some recent experience of other counters/ exchange agents at airport? I’d rather get a bad rate than fly home with money I can’t use

i won’t be going into Male at all so can only do this at the airport. I’m not comfortable asking other passengers to change with me so am looking for a counter/ agent to do it with

thanks!
