Greatest fumble in the history

I recently attended a training program where I noticed an absolute 10/10 girl. At first I was too shy to talk to her. Since I consider myself below average looking(ugly as fuck). I basically rejected myself before even trying. During the training we got paired together multiple times for different activities. We actually worked really well as a team. I would research the topics thoroughly, and she would present them confidently. Through that, I learned a lot about team management from her, and she learned a lot about researching topics from me. While writing this, I realized she was probably quite impressed with my work because my research presentations were the best in the class — no one else really came close. On the last day, she insisted that I create an Instagram account and also took my phone number. I uninstalled Instagram that night, and forgot about it. Last week when I opened it again, I saw that she had sent me a reel saying how good my research used to be. But now it turns out that she and the second-best researcher in the class are dating, so I guess it’s already too late for me. And she will probably name her kisd after me.
