Ever since I became a mom, I’ve lost any sort of career goals and ambition

Over the last decade (I’m 40 now), I’ve only been able to work part time jobs because of lack of childcare and just the overall work-life balance with our kids has never allowed me to pursue a full time position. I’ve landed in receptionist, banking, and administrative positions but I don’t thrive in any of it. My partner works full time and my main responsibility is to be a mother and be home with the kids. I often feel like, even with my part time job, that I might as well be a SAHM because that is a majority of what I am and what I do.
