Skin Care advice for men [Routine Help]

Hey people, so recently my girlfriend told me about how my face would be so much better if I had a skin care routine. I am the kind of guy who thought (and maybe I still do) that these things are for women and that if I start shine like the sun I will seem more feminine. BUT, I considered it and did a mini research and found out that if I keep it simple and do it right I will just look cleaner and not feminine. (I also read that I can even look more masculine with this).

So, I have got some questions about the correct products. I read that I must determine my skin type, which I did and I think I am a normal to combination? (Since after washing my face,only my nose was a very bit oily and the rest of the face was normal, neither oily nor dry).

For my skin type, what’s the best facial cleanser and best moisturiser? I want something with no sunscreen since I already use sunscreen because in my country the sun burns a LOT. I would like something from cerave, I don’t know why but that seems better in my opinion. Also my girlfriend always wears cerave products so they must be good (idk)

Before you ask why I don’t ask my girlfriend is because I don’t want her to know (yet). I want to see if she will notice any difference by herself, because she said she would do so.
