My journey

I started this group as I am also a former alcoholic and substance user I am 1 year sober of alcohol as of the 15th of February and 4 years clear from my substance of choice. I struggle for along time trying to find a place that could help me as I felt I couldn't speak to anyone especially people who them themselves have not had past issues but rather learned it that just wasn't for me so I suffered alone but I managed with small drop ins to get myself clean I now wanna become a substance abuse counselor so while I am training for that I thought I would make this and help while I have the time.
