I hate Mr. Manchild Tom Scavo

For a man in his situation, Tom has no choice but to be on Lynette’s team. Instead, he sabotages her at every turn, endangers their family with his fleeting ambitions, avoids reason, and is in constant competition with Lynette.

And Lynette. She is educated, a self starter, the primary breadwinner. I genuinely do not understand how she has stood by him as long as she has. For a man who claims to be so emasculated by his wife, he sure does have a talent for keeping her under his control and bending to his every whim.

The restaurant. The twins. College. Taking her job away at Carlos company. Lynette, STAND UP!!!

I feel like their relationship is in a direct conflict with Lynette’s character. Which is why I find it so frustrating.
