The Taaras Redang island or The Marriot Perhentian Island?

Hello all,

I’m going to Malaysia from the 8th to the 25th of May. My friend and I want to experience a full resort stay with plenty of activities like snorkelling, clear beaches, and water activities. However, I’m not sure about deciding between these two resorts. The Marriott is more exclusive and newer, but the beach isn’t as nice as the one at Taaras, and it seems Perhentian has fewer activities compared to Redang Island. Any thoughts?
