Shaw ARC Carrier vs LV-120
Hey good afternoon all,
Posted a little while ago on Crye AVS vs Shaw ARC Carrier and the discussion of the Spiritus Systems LV-120 came up.
I want everyone’s thoughts because I am between these two carriers right now and I keep hearing different and conflicting information.
Some people claim the Shaw is better for long term endurance, while others say the Shaw isn’t structural; it can’t handle loads long term and is essentially relying on its above-average padding. Thoughts on this specific discussion point?
Other discussion points / questions:
#1: What is “structural”? (We all know the Crye AVS + its harness is the definition) but I’ve heard both that the Shaw is or isn’t structural, and I’ve heard both that the LV-120 is and isn’t structural, so what exactly is the consensus and definition?
#1.1: I want a carrot that is the most comfortable when heavy and worn for long stretches of time. (That’s my goal with this post)
#2: What are the significant differences between these carriers?
#3: What use cases would you all choose each for?
#4: What would you guys bring to a gun fight?
