Question coming back to the game

Hello i havent played Ark with my friend since the release of Extinction tho we never fully finished any expansion other than the island. Im gonna play with my friend the new astraeos map and mod 7 new dino creatures from the ascended mod thing (forgot its name the one that has ceratosaurus and stuff)

So i was wondering around how many new creatures would we see in this new map. And what creatures we knew got reworked since then (last rework i remember was the velociraptor)

Also is astraeos like ragnarok where its a mix of scorched earth and the island or something? If so what maps.

PS: if u have free mod recommendations that are like vanilla+ (keep the game played the same way but add extra items) please let me know would love to add then.
