Does my fiance need to go back to the er?

Male 23 124 pounds 5’3.

He was bit by a dog on the 2nd, went to the er on the 3rd after he couldn’t sleep all night due to pain. After being in the er for 7 hours they sent him home after a x ray which showed no dislocation or broken fingers etc. he did / does have an infection though, they gave him his rabies and hemoglobin and a tetanus shot. They didn’t stitch up anything and sent him home with some wound care (triple antibiotic ointment with gauze and pads). The doctor said to come back if his fingers or hand was hot, and if he had any red marks or streaks on his arm.. he has no red marks on his own, but his hands are a little warm to the touch but not alarming hot. I clean it twice a day how the doctor told him too, he takes amoxicillin and clavulanatw potassium 875 mg 125 mg. Twice daily. He has yellow/green discharge on the bandage when I go to take it off. Should he go back to the hospital or is this normal?
