weigh in please: when to use ‘miss’” and a first name
The specific debate: do you think it’s rude or at least culturally inappropriate here for an older man to address a younger female acquaintance/relative by using Miss and her first name?
And then generally: Is using “Mr” or “Miss” plus the first name only right for a younger person talking to an older person?
