Looking for a pocketable long zoom digital camera

Recommendations
  • Budget: Ideally under $400?

  • Country: USA

  • Condition: Used

  • Type of Camera: Point and shoot

  • Intended use: 75% Photography, 25% video

  • If photography; what style: Landscape, street, wildlife, scenery

  • If video what style: Not sure

  • What features do you absolutely need: Long zoom, 8/10x or more

  • What features would be nice to have: Articulated screen

  • Portability: Pocketable or small bag

  • Cameras you're considering: Something like the RX100 VII but older and cheaper

  • Cameras you already have: RX100 V, love it, but I want a longer zoom

  • Notes: I don't mind to get an older camera, I mostly want the zoom and that it is small, I can deal with reduced megapixel resolution.

I used to have a Panasonic FZ28 which I really loved to use all the way zoomed in, but the camera was way too big and the image quality was not amazing. I still loved playing with those superzoomed framings, and would like to get something back akin to that, but pocketable and with better image quality.
