New Player - Tips for defeating Black Panther?

When I looked this up, I just found a lot of people arguing whether he was broken or bad. I just genuinely want to know what I can be doing to counter him.

I play mostly Strategist. My favorites are Mantis and Luna. I play on console, my aim is okay. Black Panther does quite a bit of damage and can usually kill me before I can react if he sneaks up on me. Because of this, I end up kind of looking around for him whenever I'm not actively in a team fight. I feel this isn't great because it reduces how attentive I'm being towards my team and lowers my healing.

Occasionally I can hit him with a sleep or a freeze but it's rare. He's so fast and difficult to aim at. I also find it very difficult to kill him alone. I can do it sometimes but often he just escapes to somewhere high up that I can't get to.

Any tips would be massively appreciated. I like the challenge of learning character interactions and matchups but I'm just not having any success with this one and need help from better players.
