Possible reflux? Baby seems in pain

I’m EBF, baby is 5 weeks old. Everytime she eats she spits up so much, and even when asleep cries out in pin as she tries to pass bowel movements or gas. My pediatrician says this is normal baby things - is crying out in pain after each feed really normal?? First time

He also said I didn’t need to cut out any dairy or soy, but at what point did people try that to see if it helps?
