Suggestions for improving MegaCon Orlando experience

My wife and I are planning to cosplay as Carl and Donut at MegaCon in Orlando, Florida which is happening in about 2 weeks. I think we have our costumes nailed down, but this is only our second big convention and the first time we're doing any sort of DCC cosplay.

Does anyone have any recommendations for ways to go above and beyond? I'm not talking explicitly about our costumes--I'm talking more so about fun interactions with other attendees.

For instance, I've already got 200 stickers and around 100 mini wooden hobgoblin dynamite sticks to give out to anyone who compliments us. Things like that. Any suggestions on any other fun ways that we could turn it up a notch while staying on theme?
