Need advice
Hello wonderful people!
I’m trying to recreate this wooden paneling around the box bay window area in my house as I have the perfect spot for it and I’d really appreciate any advice - especially regarding installation. Should it be nailed or screwed into joists? Would adhesive work? And what would be the best approach for installing it on the ceiling?
So far I’m thinking about using laminate floorboards, hardwood floorboards or wood planks, but maybe there are better options I’m not aware of. Ideally, I’d like something that can be painted or stained so I can match it to other items in the room.
The area is relatively small, but I’d still like to do it properly.
Hoping the power of the internet will help me make this happen, will post the before and after once done :)
