Do you actively pursue relationships?

Discussion

I pursue relationships passively. I am alloromantic, but I don't confuse romantic attraction to be love. I think I would have to make the first move, most of the time. I don't want to assume whether some woman is allo or ace. I am trying to figure out how to express romantic attraction.

One time, a guy asked me if I was gay. I was his coworker. I'm glad he asked me instead of assuming. He was gay and looking for another gay guy.

I think conversations about sexual orientation and sexual attraction can be awkward. Most people don't talk about sexual attraction in depth. They only say, "This person is hot." It's awkward when people ask me about my sexual history.
