Seeing someone attractive of the same-six is triggering?
Do you ever see someone of the same sex that is so attractive, it causes you to spiral into an existential crisis?
I happened to come across a handsome man on my Reddit feed. He was showcasing how relatively minor alterations to his beard drastically affected his appearance. Suffice to say, he looked good either way.
Afterwards, I couldn't help but ponder what life must be like for someone so aesthetically blessed. To go anywhere and receive admiring glances. To have the confidence to post a picture in a random sub without fear of receiving a deluge of negative comments. Knowing you could attract almost anyone when it comes to dating, or that you can walk away from an unhappy relationship safe in the knowledge there will be others interested.
I shied away from all forms of life in my late teens because of how uncomfortable I was in my own skin. I've missed out on so much. Life looks infinitely more fulfilling when you're attractive. It looks effortless. I wonder what it's like not to have all this self-loathing.
