Is my ring too big?

Hi all! I just received my ring yesterday and I love it! However, when using the sizing kit the size 9 was very snug, almost so snug that i was considering getting the size 10 but ultimately figured a 9 would be my best bet.

Now having received my actual ring, the 9 feels somewhat loose? Definitely looser than the sizer ring as that one required a tiny bit of effort to take off. If I rapidly shake my hand the ring won’t fall off but it does shimmy up my finger a little bit. The groove that’s supposed to stay facing my palm keeps rotating around to the side/front of my finger

And I’m not sure if that means it’s to lose or if that just happens time to time. I’m just wondering if this sounds like how it should fit or if I should exchange for an 8? (The 8 sizing ring I can’t even get over my knuckle)
