What's the purpose of the extra infotainment screens?

I have a 22 RTL-E. What's the function of the additional screens on the infotainment unit when you swipe to the right? There's a couple of blank screens. I see an "application" area but when I click into there there's almost nothing. A browser, I think, which doesn't work, and some network security stuff.
