Copy only visible files?

Need to reinstall windows, looking to back up my files (mostly system files on C drive, mostly data on second drive) (Windows 11)

When making a copy of my data to an external drive, how can I be sure that I only copy my normal documents, photos, videos and install files? And don’t include any system files, logs, previously deleted files or hidden files, app data etc.
