Harris county Detention officer

I had a background interview with Harris county for detention officer. Everything was good until it wasn’t. On my background check I put that I hadn’t done any illegal drugs or marijuana because I’m underage (20F). I also put I haven’t been detained or involved with police not thinking they would fact check that (dumb of me I know)… they checked my social media on spot and I had a picture from January 2025 and of 2024 from smoking weed. I told her I don’t smoke anymore and that was old but the fact I didn’t disclose it on my background scares me. I didn’t get a chance to edit my background papers either. It was also another incident where she said my name was mentioned on a police report where I was riding with a friend who got pulled over and had weed and an illegal gun in the car. I was detained but eventually let go while the friend was arrested. Should I just let the idea of getting the job go???
