I’m so petty about the cryptid situation

I’m going to sound petty because I am. The last time I played this game was in early 2021, I quit because I got hacked then. I returned a few months ago and started fresh again. I started using ELVE because I see almost everyone else using it, and thought it must be a reliable source. I worked my way up to a crow, a pet that is a stable high tier with good demand in my opinion, and have been trying to upgrade it to a parrot. I’ve been offering crow + Cabbit + other adds to do an overpay of over 10 points. Yet every single parrot owner I’ve talked to so far just declined me instantly. Okay fine I take it as they don’t like the adds. But then I see some parrot owners taking a 20 point underpay just because the offer had cryptid in it? It rose like 40 points or more in a couple weeks on elve. What even is this? Did it really deserve that value or is it manipulated? What’s next, make a pink pet that’s 2k Robux and add a bunch of rainbows and glitters, is it gonna be worth a giraffe then?
