U7 Mesh or something else?

I am currently looking at replacing my 3 Deco AXE 5300s (running access point mode) for my home network, they are hardwired and have an adapter to run them over PoE. I already have a UCG Max and Flex 2.5G 8 PoE switch so I have the foundation already. Most of my equipment is on the newer side, but I do have some IoT Wifi devices running at 2.4Ghz. I need to cover about 3000 sq ft on two levels with my setup, so I was thinking about replacing the Deco's with the U7 Mesh. I do see that these units don't have a 6Ghz radio in them, so wondering if there was a better unit I should get for about the same price. I am also hoping to only have to buy 2 Access Points, but will get 3 if I need to. Eventually, I would like to put a device outside to cover my backyard better than it does now.
