Problematic take maybe?

I know I may be downvoted to hell for this but like…. Why do I still want Lindsey and Carl to get back together or have a fling at the very least. I’ve been watching for all iterations of their relationship and it seems like they are the best version of themselves they’ve ever been. Obviously if these people were my friends I would never wish this for them. But from a good tv show stand point… this would be amazing. They definitely still love one another, not romantically, but love none the less. Carl won’t be the step father but the father that steps up and he could wear one of those shirts and Lindsey will boss him around in a loving way and they will live their best millennial lives together. Imagine this being their “in the city” story line.

I’m prepared to be called crazy for this.
