You receive very vulgar content involving your sister in law, what is your best course of action?

I am 28, and my wife, 27, newly wed, 5 months.

So on one fine day a couple of months ago, I receive some objectionable pics of my sister in law (24, a hostelite) from an unknown contact.

Then me and my wife keep on receiving threatening msgs from unknown numbers that they have some stuff to share.

At one point, we decide to tell that to their elder brother, who lives abroad. He talks to her for some days and then we reach a decision that we will forgive her this time and she has to correct her ways.

Then a month later, I receive proper videos, of her involved in acts, gross, vulgar, to every extreme there is.

I wait for some days, but then some less vulgar videos are received to my wife. Knowing that they will be sending it to her any moment, I tell my wife about the se*ual videos.

She asks me to send, then sends to her brother and mother, and now looks like my sister in law's degree will be halted and her life ahead seems very grim.

Now, I really think bad for her. Maybe I could have not talked to my wife and saved her from this whole thing, but it looked like a game of some weeks, because they were already sending my wife things, not to the extent that I received, but they did.

Am I in the wrong here? Could I have saved this from happening?
