which console would be most comfortable/content filled to buy

im tryna look for a replacement for my old 3ds that i; somehow lost. i dont know either. but i was doing some research and i wanted to see if anyone here had an input on this

i dont mind getting another 3ds, the one i had was a new 3ds xl, and i only had it modded for like. half a year before it went missing? but i rlly liked it, so im kinda fond of the 3ds. but now i'm seeing that i could in theory mod both the 2ds and a dsi to be kinda like the same thing. so like. which should i get? i dont know if id get around the 2ds whole like, brick design, its a sensory thing, but if its able to run the 3ds system games like my old one was, id be willing to manage

but for the dsi, all the videos i watched didnt really give me an answer on the game front. idk if id be able to run the 3ds line games on it, and i dont know how limited it'd be homebrew wise compared to the 3ds
