Question for firefighters about fire alarm systems

Quick question for firefighters here — how much do you actually get taught about fire alarm systems during training?

Things like how the panel works, what different troubles mean, or how the system interfaces with sprinklers, elevators, HVAC, etc.

I work in the fire alarm industry and I’m putting together a basic course explaining how these systems work. Before finishing it, I’m trying to get feedback from people who interact with them in the field.
