ORIGINAL POST: Got waxed yesterday, artist accidentally burned me and responded with ChatGPT over text

Messaged my wax artist after appointment yesterday and said it was hurting more than usual, this morning woke up with serious burns under my arms and texted her pics asking what to do. In any previous texts there was never bolded words and the last line saying seek professional help just solidifies that she's using ChatGPT to respond to me. This is the first time shes accidentally burned me and she's a really sweet lady but when paying $140+tip for full body and coming out of it with burns and missed spots then getting an AI response idk it just feels super unprofessional.

ETA: She speaks fluent English, both in person and over text. Her first message apologizing seemed very sincere and genuine, but the follow up texts after sending the update photos that are AI generated is what really threw me off and made the whole conversation feel like it wasn't worth her time to formulate an actual response and instead just got AI to respond for her. This is not a "poor communication" issue for why she used AI, as you can clearly tell from the first message.

I do not mind using AI as a tool, I mind when you write off AI blatantly as your own words. It shows laziness and lack of professionalism, which is why it's only "mildly" infuriating to me.
