Appreciation for hollow radiance

This item has been the biggest thing that has ever happened to me in WR, like even more than hitting masters or getting wukong's mythic skin shard.

I cannot state how freaking amazing this item is as a tank, especially, actually SPECIFICALLY in the support role. One thing I really I dislike is mr items cause I always felt the armour items just did a lot more than mr items. I never build sunfire because I have so much armour already with thornmail, frozen heart, etc, that the usual path of force of nature just felt lacking. Plus the fire damage would have stolen a lot of last hits and would have made the wave control awful. Ik there are other mr items, but force of nature would always pop-up cause its a literal stat stick.

But with this item usually 2nd/3rd, it solves the mr issue with mr boots, gives health and actually lets me wave clear and deal a lot more damage back. Before you say, "well you are a support, you shouldn't be wave-clearing". Listen, when you have teammates that would rather aram in mid than catch literal free gold and xp from waves, someone has to do it so not only is the gold and xp not wasted but also so at least one side lane isn't constantly pushed in.

That is the one main reason I hated playing support as a tank despite it being my style. I hated that I had to rely on my teammates to listen to my pings to come over to clear a wave and if you are a support main you probably know what I mean. The amount of times, me as a tank support, had to retreat back to base to try and defend against a split-pushing freak is genuinely insane. At least with hollow radiance, I can focus the wave so they can't push anymore.

Another thing you guys might say, is sunfire and radiance do the same thing and will leech the last hits. The difference with radiance is that it gives mr and building it 2nd/3rd means laning phase is usually over so allows me to gain a bit more control if I see no one is responding to my pings on the waves. Plus on champs like galio, wherever there is a teamfight, you will always be there a few seconds later.

This is the item I can say for a fact, I have never regretted building ever since it came out. Hopefully rito doesn't nerf it anytime soon but knowing them, they might just buff an item for Yi again.
