Pete Hegseth's Letter To USA Troops is the perfect example of why pushback against religion needs to occur
Pete Hegseth the Defence Secretary for the "Department of War" (holy hell that title is so incredibly stupid) sent out letters to military personnel. That Trump was chosen by Jesus and that the war in Iran was a part of "god's" plan to trigger Armageddon and usher in Jesus' return.
Regardless of your political leanings. This sort of extremist rhetoric is insane and should 1000% be pushed back against and the fact that so many Christians in the USA aren't pushing back against it, but rather are supporting it is very alarming and harms the overall image of Christianity in general. While it is unfair to compare the average believer as being equivalent to the extremists. I posit that the lack of pushback from believers, validates such rhetoric. Even if they are the minority. The fact that they are being more vocal than the majority is the problem.
Why do believers not push back against those that make their beliefs appear toxic, violent and damaging to the world?
