23 Female - Looking to be friends with fellow movie buffs :-)

Hello :-) I am 23 year old girl from the west coast of the US looking for friends from anywhere.

I am a huge movie buff and really enjoy connecting with others about our mutual love of films! I mainly watch 80s movies, B-movies, and old lowbudget horror movies, but I'm always up for recommendations! I really like the "so bad it's good" movies, but also genuinely enjoy "so bad it's just bad" ones.

My favorite genres are thrillers, horror, sci-fi, dark comedies, mysteries, and action-comedies. I will say though, I'm not into super gross out horror, like I actively avoid The Hellraiser (and similar) films for the most part... 😶

I'm also slightly a gamer. My favorite consoles are the PS2, PS3, gba, & SNES. Favorite games are Resident Evil HD remaster, Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 (though, I like the whole RE series), Kingdom Hearts 2, Gitaroo Man, and the Guitar hero games. I like computer games as well, just haven't played a ton yet. The most recent PC games I've played are Dead by Daylight, Overcooked 2, and Typing of the Dead.

I'm also always listening to music. I mainly listen to 80s music; new wave, Gothic rock, synth pop, and rock are my most listened to genres. Some of my favorite bands are The Cure, Japan, Echo & The Bunnymen, New Order, Joy Division, The Psychedelic Furs, Gary Numan, The Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, etc.

I would like to know what your favorite songs are or get album recommendations as I'm always looking for new stuff to listen to :-)

I'm also really into arts and crafts! Doodling, scultping, sewing, etc. Anything creative I can get my hands on I find to be a fun way to relax when I have the time. :-)

I also really enjoy reading, though I haven't been doing it as much lately as I would like.... I'm currently reading The Shining, but I've read a few other Stephen King books and ton of Agatha Christie ones as well.

If any of this interests you, please feel free to message me! :-)
