Something I started thinking about as I’m doing my rewatch it feels like Ino never really had feelings for Sasuke. It felt more like a way to jab at Sakura because she was upset at Sakura for, essentially, choosing a boy over her. When she stepped in to protect Sakura in the forest of death it seemed like she couldn’t care less about protecting Sasuke
