MO Bar Exam Takers (both recent and past examinees)
***DISCLAIMER: I understand that there are people who think that once you have taken the exam, you should just be glad you did it or simply wait for the results. I am NOT like that and need some info. so I can sleep better at night. This is a space for those of LIKE minds********
Everyone: What do you know about the scale in MO. Apparently, there is a difference between scaling and curving and I don't really understand it other than scaling means you are not compared to your peers. Please clarify.
Past Examinees: Whether you passed or not, can you explain what the grading is like in MO? I need to know if my calculations are sufficient. I basically have a worst to best case scenario lol I took this exam before and was able to tell what the "curve" was when I got my results based on what my scores were compared to the total score for both the written portion and the MBEs. I particularly would appreciate input from those of you who took it in February '25.
- MPTs: Does someone have a good chance of having a great MPT score even if the second one isn't very strong (analysis was weak toward the end and my objective voice turned persuasive in the overall conclusion).
- MEEs: Long story short, I feel very confident for two, weaker for another two, and terrible about another two essays ( I totally knew to start with the last one because it was one of my stronger subjects but I ran out of time and could not explain the rule as much as I needed to -- I basically went straight to analysis).
Recent Examinees: How did you feel about those MEEs and the MBEs? Some of those were really crazy. For the MEEs, nothing seemed hard to me, I just regretted not reviewing ST and even BL because that last issue kinda threw me off but I guess I made up a rule (can't remember) and charged forward. Also, does anyone remember what the question was for the third issue for the evidence essay??
Thank you all in advance!
