Anybody plan for two but stuck with one? Pros? Cons?

Our first is almost 1. It’s been a bit of a rough go for us as a couple, but nothing too crazy.

Anyway - my husband misses the old me (and so do I).

He’s not being pushy or guilt-tripping, just being honest. I have been distant for quite a while.

He says he’s not sure if he wants to prolong it for 3-5 years (I plan to get pregnant next year).

I’ve always saw myself with two kids, but not totally against having one.

Anybody experience this?
