Works been slow (update)

So from my previous post work hasn’t picked up, I got a call yesterday from my boss about job site finally starting in two weeks. I’m also in process of getting into the Apprenticeship program from the sponsorship my company gave me. But I haven’t been working and I just been studying. My girlfriend wants me to look at other opportunities, I happened to land one but it’s “Automated Gate services” that comes with benefits and etc from what my father-in-law is promoting to me; he works there, got me referral. I have interview coming up on Monday. Nervous about it. I have little of 2 years in electric want is to follow this path but i gotta be realistic it’s been slow and my girlfriend can’t wait on me start work at either job. She wants me to have stability and wants me to that gate job. I want to stay with the company and follow thru with the program see what happens from there. I feel this opportunity I need to take. She thinks I’m being selfish but I think I’m making a good decision. I haven’t even been seen yet so who knows
