As a new pass starting with left hand drive, gears and a failing clutch... Was it stupid taking this job?

Only started the last two days driving it and the stress is unreal. It seems like an alright job if you can learn to do it, but I feel way over my head at times. Most of the lads are eastern European and it works for them, but for me it feels like I'm basically driving into other cars all day long.
