Moving to Vancouver - any advice?

Myself and my girlfriend (both 25) are flying over Saturday on a 2 year visa - We're absolutely buzzing - looking for any tips or advice for the move from anyone who's done something similar and what to expect living abroad having never done so (or even out of the family home!)

We know cost of living is very high, job wise I work remotely and she's in a good field with a job lined up over there and we're sorted in terms of accommodation, mainly looking for tips on the little things you wouldn't expect :) cheers!
