Travelling

My son wants to travel with his friends in Europe to celebrate end of exams in June. He’s been diagnosed under a year. I am beside myself with worry. I want him of course to live a full and brilliant life and his friends are lovely. But they are a bunch of 18 year old boys and my son is injecting and is quite up and down with levels. His team are fine tuning and excellent but he doesn’t have his ratios done yet and they say growth hormones and teenage stuff makes it all difficult atm. He hasn’t travelled as a diabetic . Lots of beer, no sleep and unfamiliar food while moving around is terrifying me. Am I being too over protective
