When I first met my Sweetheart, I knew absolutely nothing about this lifestyle. It was completely new to me. She was the one who gently opened the door and showed me what it meant, what it looked like, and how important it was to her. Because I cared about her, I was more than willing to learn and step into something unfamiliar. I’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way. But through every awkward step, every moment of learning, and every time I doubted whether I was doing things right, she showed me patience, trust, and kindness. She believed in me while I was still figuring out how to believe in myself in this role. Somewhere along the way, what started as something new became something that feels completely natural. Taking care of her, protecting her softness, guiding her, and reminding her she’s my little princess, it’s become one of the greatest joys of my life. The little moments are the ones that mean the most to me. Changing her diapers, giving her a bottle, making sure she behaves like the princess she is (even when Daddy has to step in and discipline her). Sitting with her and reading bedtime stories until her eyes start to get heavy. Holding her close when she’s sad and reminding her she’s safe. Watching her get excited over a new stuffy and pretending she definitely didn’t already have enough. Those moments might seem small, but to me they mean everything. She may see me as the one guiding her, protecting her, and keeping her safe, but the truth is she’s given me something just as meaningful. She’s shown me a kind of happiness and connection I never knew I was missing. I’ve never been as happy as I am with her. I can’t imagine wanting to step away from our dynamic, and I can’t imagine wanting anyone else. To me she’s my perfect little princess, and I’m so proud to be the Daddy she trusts with her heart.

Being her Daddy is the greatest honor
