Looking to buy

Looking to buy the game because I love fantasy games and it looks cool. I was never a fan of dark souls though because of how brutally difficult it can get and I'm not a fan of the whole unfair difficulty thing. Heard elden ring is easier though, anyone think I'd enjoy it?
