Suggestions for forehand dinks when playing on right side?
I frequently play on the left side, so I've spent a lot of time with my backhand slice dink and twoey roll dink, to the point where I am very comfortable with both. However, I also want to learn how to effectively play the right side, and feel that my forehand dink is much weaker. I just don't get the same angles, consistency, spin, etc.
On my backhand dinks, I feel like I can be consistent while making the dinks difficult to return, and call pull people out wide or reset back to the middle if needed. On my forehand dinks, I feel like I frequently try to roll them wide with lots of spin, but it doesn't go as sharp as I want it to, and it ends up that they can take it out of the air sometimes. Maybe I am hitting forehand roll dinks too much like a 3rd shot drip?
I also struggle with the forehand slice/cup/push dink, perhaps I don't keep the ball on the paddle face long enough because my control suffers on these types of shots.
Any advice or tips is appreciated, thanks. Would also be down to watch on YT videos if you have recs.
