I think I’m starting to hate my cat

I have two cats. One is such a little asshole I think I’m beginning to hate him. My other cat is a lovely girl and I have no issues with her. I got the little asshole as a friend for her and they are friends and enjoy playing together.

The little asshole is a terror in my apartment. He is destroying everything. Got new bedding, he ripped through it in a week. He pulls everything off of shelves and knocks them to the floor, breaking the item. I moved everything to higher shelves but he just stretches up to pull down all the higher items.

He has many toys. I play with him as much as I can. I spend so much of my time yelling at him and chasing him away from whatever he is trying to destroy.

Do I rehome him? I’m worried my girl will miss her friend.
