39M. Does this really work?

I used to have a text buddy that I met randomly years ago. Her and I would talk for hours about the most random things. Music, books I never read, bad movies, the world. I miss those days. I have friends, work, a life… but something about that one person that didn’t know you… but really knew you. There’s something special about that. So here I am, wondering if this is the way to have that again.
