Have had OCD about my resume, Final Semester, 1 interview
Hello everyone! I graduate with my bachelor's in 2 months and, like others, have yet to get a job. I did get into grad school, but I'm really burnt out on school. I just want to build and work. I would prefer doing my master's part-time later on while working. Also, if I were to do my master's right away, I worry about being overeducated.
I feel insanely behind and am mad at myself for it. I struggled to be interested in software for a while. My internship and getting a second monitor have brought back my love for developing. Besides, my skillset definitely fits software the best. I just wish this motivation had come way sooner. Also, I tried really hard to avoid it, but I became a bit of a generalist. My interests just fluctuate so much. Cybersecurity was my original goal, but I struggle way more than I like in CTFs, and I don't have the money for expensive certifications. Also, I recently Embedded/Hardware, but it will take a while to be confidently qualified for it. Still applying to jobs in both with different tailored resumes but not expecting much.
I have spent a lot of time editing my resume. My projects are my biggest weakness im ngl. I am working on a side project I'm proud of, but that will take a little bit before I can put it on my resume. And, I have so many questions on the resume still. Like, would a summary help me out, even a little 2-liner? What's the best order? Should I keep my internship split from my capstone and TA job? I need constructive criticism BAD.
